The findings are published in <strong>Vaccine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UK arm of the study drew on CPRD Aurum, the UK\u2019s database of anonymised primary care records. Across the UK, Spain and the Netherlands, the study included more than 5.3 million people who received the AstraZeneca vaccine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What the study found<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The findings suggest a possible increased risk of TTS after vaccination, particularly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After the first dose<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In people aged under 60<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within 1\u201342 days after vaccination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Results varied between countries and data sources \u2014 underlining why collaborative, real-world evidence matters in vaccine safety monitoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re proud to contribute to this important European collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forns J, Pajouheshnia R, Aurelius T, et al.
