This collaborative course is aimed at anyone with an interest in pharmacovigilance and related job roles, no previous experience required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delegates will be introduced to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the importance of drug safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how this affects patients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>what it is like in a patient safety department \u2018day-to-day\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Practical workshops will give attendees an understanding of the on-going and proactive drug safety activities which are taking place in the patient safety departments and the key partnerships with health authorities to ensure patients are safe whilst taking medicines.&nbsp;Personalise the programme to your interests by choosing to hear about roles specific to drug safety or medical affairs when registering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your introduction to drug safety (pharmacovigilance) \u2013 Monday 18th November at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, London<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This course is designed for those with little or no knowledge of drug safety (pharmacovigilance), who wish to gain an understanding of the background and the methods used to reduce risks to patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training will be of benefit staff interested in working in pharmacovigilance departments as well as a broad range of staff in pharmacy, the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory authorities and academia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
